WINTON TRACK DAY - Nov 6 2007 - CUP DAY HOLIDAY

As Mentioned, a track day at Winton Motor Raceway, electronic timing, heaps of FUN!!

Entry Fee: $120 which includes Timing device hire

Spectators Are more than welcome, and there is no cost to come and watch. Also you can go for a ride in the cars but you must sign on with a Passenger indemnity first.

YOU WILL NEED:
Long sleeve and long pants of non flammable materials i.e. No Nylon
AASA license which can be bought on the day for $50 or CAMS L2S
Closed footwear
Helmet that complies to Australian Standards (has ASA or Snell Sticker)
Car needs to be in a good condition, no oil leaks, no loose items in the car and battery secure.
Good condition tyres


This will be limited to 60 cars, with 5 groups of 12 cars.
All people wishing to attend need to make payment to the specified bank account. When you send your email you will be sent an entry form as well as payment details. You will need to email the following details

Full Name
Address
Mobile Phone Number
Car Make, Model, Capacity, and your previous best time at Winton (for grouping purposes)

I have run many events at Winton and been involved in the running of many more right up to the V8 Supercar level. We have now decided that we will utilize our expertise at event management to organize a fun filled day with no stress.

This is late notice for this event but it is only due to a cancellation that I have been able to get a day on the track, as it is booked solid until the end of the year.

As it is Melbourne Cup Day we will be stopping the events on the circuit to watch the race. And time permitting during the day we will try and organize a couple of “cup sweeps” to add to the fun.

[27/28-Oct-07] Six Hour Relay Race Winton

6 Hour endurance event held at Winton Motor Raceway and is open to holders of CAMS L2 license and the AASA Club license. It is designed for fun but there are still trophies to be won.

• You would need 6 cars to a team and 6 drivers of course.
• Basic requirements for the track days apply.
• The cost is about $1200 per team so $200 per driver and you will get 2 full days of racing.
• Saturday Practice and Qualifying and Sunday the race.
• Now remember the race is a relay so you would have one car on track at a time.
• It will be held on November 3rd and 4th

[Circuit Club] Eastern Creek Trackday!

Eastern Creek is on again and the 3.9km circuit is waiting for us to come and tear it apart!

The Trackday will be held on Saturday August 4th, which will hopefully be perfect chilly weather for more power to fly down the 1km straight! Our Eastern Creek Trackdays are becoming more and more popular and there are only a limited 75 spots available for this one. Make sure you book ahead!

As usual, Official Timing will return, as well as free driver instruction. Spectators are also welcome so make sure you bring all your friends and family!

Venue: Eastern Creek Raceway
Date: Saturday 4th August 2007, 9am - 5pm
Cost: $245 per driver, sorry no passengers!
Official Timing and Driver Training Included!

-'open pit lane' day
-4 qualified (Certificate 3 and 4) instructors with lots of experience at Sandown
-We also provide lunches, tea / coffee / soft drinks / cake !!, flaggies and Racesafe medical / rescue crew.
-You do not need a CAMS or ASSA licence to participate in our High Performance Training and Track Driving Days
-3 groups of ten drivers, twenty minutes of track time per hour. maximum of 30 drivers for the day, you will get plenty of track time
-Start time is 8.30 am for safety briefing, track is open from 9.00 am until 4.00pm
- Cost is $335.00 per driver.
- Check with your insurance company, they will most likely cover you for one of our training days.
