Price: $150 per driver (includes official timing)
Places: ~45 places for us, ~65 places maximum
Format: Open practice format
Spectators/Passengers: FREE!

Personal Requirements:
* A valid CAMS L2S or AASA (see here to obtain license: http://www.exe-crew.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3003
* Long sleeve and long pants of non-synthetic material.
* Enclosed footwear of some type.
* ADR-approved helmet, either full face or half face is OK.

Vehicle Requirements:
* Fire Extinguisher: Securely mounted via bracket, preferably bolted down within reach of driver. Must be CAMS approved, 1KG or above.
* Tow Hook Point: If detachable type, please install it as this will speed up recovery times on the day.
* Aftermarket bonnets (CF/Fibreglass/etc) will require a secondary restraint, such as a strap/chain/belt/pins). This is not required for factory bonnets with a double-latching mechanism.
* Vehicle in good running condition, this includes:
- Tyres in roadworthy condition with enough tread
- No oil or fluid leaks
- Brakes in good working condition
- No loose parts, including battery
- Vehicle interior and boot clear from loose objects (including spare wheel)

Notes:
* This is a combined event with Circuit Club (http://www.circuitclub.com.au/). Thanks to Narada, Jayne and the CC crew for helping us with this day.
* Everybody is welcomed, no matter how new or experienced you are at circuit driving.
* Any passengers are required to fill in and sign an indemnity form. Passengers are allowed at any time during the day.
* Please be on time, gates open 8AM! We will begin scrutineering at 8:15AM sharp, you are also required to visit the pit office for document checks/filling in indemnity form.
* There will be a driver's briefing prior to commencing track time at approximately 8:45AM. All drivers are required to attend the driver's briefing or will not be allowed on track.
* Please make sure your car is prepared, the quicker everybody is ready to go and have their car checked, the more track time we can have.
* Cars will be divided into groups based on estimated laptime, this is to ensure that there is minimum traffic for you, and as a result you get a clean and safe run, please provide estimate laptime.
* Timing will be posted on http://www.natsoft.com.au/ after the event, and may be viewable during the day near the scrutineering bay.
* This is not a competitive event, we are all here to have an enjoyable day. Please drive safely and follow instructions, or you will be banned from further driving.

EXE is moving web hosts! 25th Jan 10PM

Dear all,

As you may have noticed, the hosting for our forum and site have been unusually unstable in the past few weeks. This has been due to server issues from the host based in the US, which has been resolved each time with small delays. However, Silas (Flameboy) has generously donated some new hosting facilities for our forum which we will be looking to switchover to on 25th January 10PM AEDT. The new facilities will hopefully provide a more responsive and reliable forum for us to use.

We expect the switchover to take around 2-3 hours to complete, and there may be delays while the DNS changes propogate, which may take a few additional hours. During this time, the website/forum will be unavailable, however it should be back the next morning if all goes to plan.

Thank you for your patience so far, please do continue to be active on our forum and friendly community in the meantime, as per normal. We very much value your participation and we look forward to the smooth switchover to the new host on the 25th January. *No posts, information or otherwise will be lost in this switchover if all goes to plan.*

Result Printouts: Depending on your request. AFR / KW, Torgue/KW... axis output number VS speed or KW. please let the operator know what you want, otherwise they will just do standard output.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ:
- Please make sure your car is safe for dyno (not pinging, knocking, or leaking). they have the right to reject your car to be on the dyno if its unsafe and no refund will be given.

- please let the operator know any info you want them to know (like what rpm to rev your car to).

-no refund will be given for someone that pull out if we cannot replace their spot with someone else.

-it is not a dyno competition. its just a normal group dyno day so we can get it done for $35 instead of $80 normal price for 3 run.

-TOW HOOK POINT! please make sure, if your car have a detachable tow hook (few new cars now has it) please make sure you installed the tow hook. just in case you spun out and stuck, this will sped up the recovery process and prevent us from attaching the tow hook on you bumper
- ANY AFTERMARKET BONNET will have to have a secondary restrain or bonnet pin. (belt, chain, etc to catch the bonnet just in case the latch fail). this is not compulsory for car with factory bonnet

IMPORTANT:

Please be on time. we will start secrutineering 8am sharp! we are trying to aim for 6 sessions per entrant: 1 practice + 4 group + 1 sprints
we still run the day the same way, devide the cars into 5 groups of similar lap times / predictive lap times. run each car with 9-11 sec gap. 15min per sessions.
around 2:30pm we will start sprint sessions. which mean you will be grouped into 4 cars with someone with similar lap time with you, and 25 sec gap. you got 3 hot laps and 1 cool down. only for this sprint session: NO WARM UP LAP!
after the trackday, the RESULT, will be categorised and sorted. and the winner of each class will be announced around 1 WEEK later. we will then arrange an award nights to give out throphies and awards. NO AWARDS will be given on the day and no class will be announce on the day.

we will announce the official classes after the trackday, YES after. ONCE AGAIN, the way we run the group session is still the same old way, based on lap times (so you will still have GROUP A, B, C, D, E for sessions purpose) . Classes (eg: under 2ltr NA, noob, over 2ltr turbo, etc) are only for sorting the TIMING RESULTS and Trophies purposes. please don't expect fancy trophies. it will be DIY trophies ala exe-crew, but full of exe love... there would be an award night for everyone to catch up and mingle around 1 week after the trackday.

all this time we only have track days like practice and combined results. mow with this classes, we hope we can give rewards for those silent achiever and appreciation to every level/categories or entrant. not just the fastest, the biggest power, etc. hope everyone feel appreciated and motivated to improved.

in order to make the dyno day goes smooth in order, everyone will be divided into 2 SESSIONS. you cannot move between sessions, if you are late, and we cant fit you in your session, then you wont get your run and you wont get a refund.

you are not allowed to change session on the day. please be there before your session start so we can run the day smoothly without waiting

winton 3KM track

highlights from the day:
it was another great day at winton. this time we are blessed with lot of fast cars, fast drivers and fast newbies! early morning shower and tempramental weather doesnt stop enthusiasts from pushing their car... from the morning the track goes from semi wet, to dry, to hot, to dirty with occasional drizzle...

in group A, we got crazyray who did amazing 1:58s in his first time ever @ winton in his honda JAZZ o_O, then we got massive improvement 2 crazy girls who previously did 2 minute plus on their previous trackday: wokstar 1:54(starlet GT), jally07 1:55(golf gti) both still on street tyres. the beginner group are topped by 2 EM1 civic VTiR coupe 1.6l drivers _ferio_ and DNYALL, who both did 1:50s in their first time ever...

in group B, on the early practice session we got 1:41s car in this group while everyone else still doing 2 minute plus. this is due to PhyscokillerX (eric) spot are replaced by his friend's, paul, without consulting with me. had to move him up to faster group. the spot light in this group is C2888 with his tiny NA starlet, after working nonstop on his car and finally start the engine just before we left melbourne, he did 1:52 without even trying, had to stop early due to wheel hub/bearing problem. this group is topped by celicajim who breaks his PB, doing 1:48 in his celica ZR...

in group C, plenty of unpredictable people which made alot of improvement since their previous trackday... kthl finally hit 1:45 with ultra smooth driving in his stock as rock 350z, mic with his AE86 + street tyres, beat his previous PB by doing 1:48... also another crazy female driver in R34 GTT, laura, doing 1:47.... while few first timer here doing great laptime: evilsub 1:48 (S15), Hayden (WRX) and Shalom (pulsarGTIR) both doing 1:45. this group is topped by max (rx8), and mark (R34 GTT) both doing 1:43

group D is interesting mix, we start with 2 mazda kiwi warriors, krnage 1:45 MPS3, and d-mag do a fraction faster in 1:45 in his MPS6... then crazy little jimjim 1:42 (evo9), and Gan 1:41 (evo8), with their near stock car and first time in their new ride (previous trackdays at winton with other cars). then the surprise attack from chasers' team, Brad with his S14, doing 1:39 where previously quoting 1:42 when i did the group division... he was drifting around the tracks on semis... and did 1:39 topping the group!!

group E, this time has plenty of sub 1:40 cars... topping the class is johnny and lucas in their grippy monster STi from OnTheRun motorsports clocking 1:37. followed by crazy kid from PROMAX adrian (EVO6) clocking 1:38 in his first time in evo (previously driving NA 1.6 MX5 clocking 1:43). Youki (FD RX7) and sherwyn (EVO6) CHASERS car did faster time this time, 1:39s (up from 1:41 previous trackday). the highlights of the group has to be Steven Basic, clocking 1:40 on RWD Corolla KE25 making just around 110kw atw (he even did 1:39 on previous trackday), with a mighty fast cornering speed!

the whole day way ran smoothly with only few minor breakdowns, and no accident. hope everyone had fun and see you on the next events!

WINTON TRACK DAY - Nov 6 2007 - CUP DAY HOLIDAY

As Mentioned, a track day at Winton Motor Raceway, electronic timing, heaps of FUN!!

Entry Fee: $120 which includes Timing device hire

Spectators Are more than welcome, and there is no cost to come and watch. Also you can go for a ride in the cars but you must sign on with a Passenger indemnity first.

YOU WILL NEED:
Long sleeve and long pants of non flammable materials i.e. No Nylon
AASA license which can be bought on the day for $50 or CAMS L2S
Closed footwear
Helmet that complies to Australian Standards (has ASA or Snell Sticker)
Car needs to be in a good condition, no oil leaks, no loose items in the car and battery secure.
Good condition tyres

This will be limited to 60 cars, with 5 groups of 12 cars.
All people wishing to attend need to make payment to the specified bank account. When you send your email you will be sent an entry form as well as payment details. You will need to email the following details

Car Make, Model, Capacity, and your previous best time at Winton (for grouping purposes)

I have run many events at Winton and been involved in the running of many more right up to the V8 Supercar level. We have now decided that we will utilize our expertise at event management to organize a fun filled day with no stress.

This is late notice for this event but it is only due to a cancellation that I have been able to get a day on the track, as it is booked solid until the end of the year.

As it is Melbourne Cup Day we will be stopping the events on the circuit to watch the race. And time permitting during the day we will try and organize a couple of “cup sweeps” to add to the fun.

[27/28-Oct-07] Six Hour Relay Race Winton

6 Hour endurance event held at Winton Motor Raceway and is open to holders of CAMS L2 license and the AASA Club license. It is designed for fun but there are still trophies to be won.

You would need 6 cars to a team and 6 drivers of course.
Basic requirements for the track days apply.
The cost is about $1200 per team so $200 per driver and you will get 2 full days of racing.
Saturday Practice and Qualifying and Sunday the race.
Now remember the race is a relay so you would have one car on track at a time.
It will be held on November 3rd and 4th

Performance Car Mania

Performance Car Mania at Winton Raceway.

The event is a street machine style event with Drags, Burnouts, Cruizin, go-to-whoa, dyno and sound comps, show and shine and club displays.

The event is on September 21-23, 2007 with scruitneering on the friday afternoon before some grudge match drag racing under lights on Friday night, which is all just a bit of fun and the event officially kicks off on Saturday.

-DECA fun day
-We're going to do an 'Average time' Track event and a Motorkahna.
-The beauty of this sort of event is that it's not the fastest car, but the smoothest driving that wins.
-The event will be held on Sunday the 7th of October and the cost will be about $110, and that includes full lunch, drinks and snacks.
-MAX around 35 cars. There'll be plenty of track time as the 2 events will be run at the same time.
-The day will be professionally captured by a photographer, with the images given freely to the participants (hopefully some of which will be printed on the day and given to the competitor).
We'll also be shooting Video on the day.

Eastern Creek is on again and the 3.9km circuit is waiting for us to come and tear it apart!

The Trackday will be held on Saturday August 4th, which will hopefully be perfect chilly weather for more power to fly down the 1km straight! Our Eastern Creek Trackdays are becoming more and more popular and there are only a limited 75 spots available for this one. Make sure you book ahead!
